Pretty much aliens are this very knowledgable creature, w/ big eyes, who are known for probing people. And if you watch any of those shows all the victims say they were investigated somehow. Well just like the unconscious uses symbolism in images it projects while your dreaming. (the meaning behind the image represents something significant or real.) So my theory is that a person who thinks they've been abducted may just have fallen over in a coma and had a hyper-conscious hallucination. Instead of being in deep sleep they are very awake as far as brain waves and such go. So the only symbol possible is that of ultra-consciousness, this skinny creature, w/ huge eyes, and obviously interested because they are exploring your body in uncomfortable ways. And that I think gives it away a bit too, why would creatures capable of lightdistance travel, and abduction capabilities bother putting intruments in our holes. After awhile enough data should be gotten.

I've never seen a ghost before, one night though when I was like 14 I saw the reflection of my white bath robe in the mirror and I thought it was Jesus! It was dark and I was in my bad. Yeaaaah I couldn't move or breathe! I was like WHY DID HE CHOOSE MEEEE?
I'm not ready for this... lol, I fell asleep eventually I guess, and in the morning I was GLAD to see it was only my bath robe!

Both could be true. Thai's opinion is very reasonable, but it doesnt have to mean that there really isnt life out there that is just unknown to us.
They could look totally differently from our typical image of them, they could be very much like us or very much not, etc. After all, if there are others out there and they dont have the technology to reach others (much like us right now) then they would not know that we are here and imagine all sorts of life forms and debate, etc. while we are here doing the same. Do you guys see what Im trying to say here?Comment

They probably would look like us...as far as legs, arms, etc...go. If their intelligent then evolution would adobt them similar to us. They would need legs to walk, arms/hands to build, etc...Originally posted by ArmoBarbi
Aliens also don't have to be intelligent...they could be a bunch of animals. Cat like creatures that only sleep, eat, do whatever. Finding intelligent lifeforms will be really hard. Just depends what you conisder an alien. As far as I know, an insect on Jupiter is an alien.Comment

All true, that shows what amazing creatures humans are. From just deciding to draw a stick figure deer in a cave thousands of years ago. To inventing kung fu and doodooks. And conquered as much as Romans have, humans have come a long ways. makes you wonder what other intelligent creatures do in the sense of being intelligent. We've obviously creatured civilization, culture, technology, and many philosophies and beliefs about our prescence. Do you wonder why humans are religious, could aliens be religious?Comment

I never claimed that they had one be one way or the other, as you can see. Assuming they are relatively similar to us, it would seem most likely that they are having a similar experience in terms of their view of the universe and other life forms.Comment

While we are talking about what aliens could be like, if its likely that there isnt just one ecosystem where life could form then its likely that there arent just two...there may be several or infinite amount of such ecosystems all with somewhat different life forms at different stages. There may be a planet with only invertabrates, like Earth was in the Paleozoic (i think thats the one) era. There may also be one much like Earth now at the same time, and yet another way more advanced, and many more in between.
I have my thought on why humans are religious, but I believe that would be a whole nother thread.

I believe in aliens, just as much as I believe in human kind.....their not those monsters out of a science fiction film...they are just us somewhere else.
As far as ghost are concerned, I can't care less, I've seen Ghost Buster AND Ghost Buster 2, so let them comming.
