What Would You Do If You Were the Leader/President etc...?

All I want to know is what EXACTLY YOU would make sure of if you were the leader of a country, if you truly had the capability.

just take the current situation of the US or the country you are living in and say it in plain and simple words.

for example I know that I would assure that everyone had healthcare, that education was the highest funded area of the government, that the enviroment (including drugs and food) were monitored with great discretion for the safety of our globe, and that all nuclear weapons were dismantled.

if you can just write 2 or 3 lines that would be more then sufficient.

Too bad the leader of the US doesn't have the power to do any of those things you want to do. The only thing I can be certain that I would do is make a killing on the lecture/guest appearance circuit once I was through. Politically, I'd just try my best to take every power I could out of the government's hands.
