Well, I thought It would be really disgusting, so that's why I didn't really want to go, but it wasn't so bad.
I actually liked it. It was pretty interesting.
Aside from all the plastinated human bodies, I even got to see embryos in a tube, from one week, up to eight weeks, and one at 5 months. At 1-2 weeks, its the size of rice, when it's at about 3,4 weeks, its so tiny like a sunflower seed, maybe smaller, and by 6-8 weeks you can already see it taking form. You can see the head, and if you look really carefully you can somewhat decipher the vertebrate. I know you see them in textbooks, but the reall thing's interesting.
Anyways, lots of good stuff to see, I'd suggest you guys check it out!
Oh and theres was a plastinated camel, a horse, and a sliced up fat guy. There were different organs. There was smoker's lungs, cole miner's lungs, regular lungs, hearts, kidneys with diseases, a breast infiltrated with cancer... cool stuff!

I thought this was actually pretty cool. I went with some people to see it the first time around. Of course, I also used to think sticking our fingers through heart valves when we dissected hearts in bio lab was cool, so maybe don't take my word for it if you don't like such things.Last edited by ckBejug; 03-21-2005, 01:39 PM.The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposing ideas in mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function. -- F.
