Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

It doesn't make any sounds. I think that's more closely related to IQ level.

TMJ and perhaps TMI - eh?

A couple of things (perhaps helpful/perhaps not - eh?) - first - my best friend is a rather excellent chiropractor who has developed a number of pressure point massages/stretches (and resistance exercises) and such that he does on patients and then teaches them to do for themselves where he has had great success treating TMJ. In fact - another friend of mine who is a Doctor has been (at least till this point) totally cured of her TMJ condition based on his treatment of her (once) and her use of his techniques. He is a rather special chiropractor though - as he does a great deal of soft tissue work (and has extensive training in such...and cross training with his g/f who is a massage therapist) etc etc - so not all chiropractors may be capable of helping with such - though I would think there are some out there who might be so inclined. Unfourtunatly my friend is here on the East coast - though I think he may be teaching some of his techniques to chiropractors at the LA Chiropractic College in Pasadena at some point in the near future (doesn't help you though either does it?). Anyway - good luck - and don't give up or let these bastards tell you that there is nothing you can do - that is total BS and ignorance (of the worst kind).

...jaw pain and BJs...never (as in I wouldn't know from any personal experience at such)...though I may have caused/been the reason for such! j/k...and in fact (no j/k), I've experienced a sort of lock-jaw condition! (and for quite sometime after...well a day or so at any rate...) due to intensive (enthusiastic! ) and rather prolonged (and I should add quite skillful - oh yes... ) and repeated minestrations pleasing various female friends (ussually...though not always...on different/seperate occasions) - true - really... ...in fact I once had a bi g/f who used to have me show some of her g/fs - and of course (I would modestly say correctly ) claim I was the best! (but of course it wasn't always so - it pays to observe/absorb listen and learn [and make the effort!] sometimes...well perhaps not literally (pays)...but you know...though perhaps it could eh? ...TMI? (TMJ? )

armobarbi thats bullsh!t... they need to and can fix it... and if i were you i'd be mad at my mom and tell her, but i would also understand that she must have been ignorant about the whole thing... i know my mom would've thought "no there is nothing wrong" because thats what she did with my little brothers eyes... he was becoming near sighted and she didnt believe it, the nurse at the school was like, your son need glass, thats why he is doing bad in school... so as soon as we got him glasses (and it took many people to convince my mother), my litte brother started to get good grades, etc...

but you have to know that there are solutions to this, i mean come on, look at michael jackson... look at all the models with all the plastic surgery... thats stupid... they have given penises to people who wanted to be men and vaginas for those who wanted to be women, they can fix your teeth...

that is just BS! go to another doctor...

"There are a few other symptoms besides pain that TMJ dysfunction can cause. It can make popping, clicking, or grinding sounds when the jaws are opened widely. Or the jaw locks wide open (dislocated). At the other extreme, TMJ dysfunction can prevent the jaws from fully opening. Some people get ringing in their ears from TMJ troubl"

Yeah, I knew about this. I thought you were asking me personally.

wino, I have a masseuse and she has tried. I need a specialist, and there are none in this area. Im gonna keep looking though, and I will see other orthodantists for the teeth. They arent even really crooked, its just over crowding and an over bite.

Nune, I am angry at my mother (if you didnt get that part), but I wont say anything. My mother doesnt take such things well.... She did know. When I was 12 or 13, my dentist suggested braces and such. I was for it, I asked her. She didnt wanna pay for it - it wasnt important enough to her.
