Killing one to save ten is still killing, and doesn't make it any more ethical, but Communists never felt justifed to explain murder any more than criminals did, and you seem to agree. Now go and dream of a Communist utopia and don't forget your hot pockets in the microwave.

Yes, it's right, if you believe in murder and forcing individuals against their will. So long as you agree that when the time comes and your life and property are taken, you don't object because it's for the "greater good". Governments always say "greater good".

What makes you think that this man isn't a normal contributing member of society? Do you know him personally? The only thing you know is what the media tells you, that he got rough with animals in his back yard. Hell, as a kid I got a cat by the tail and spun it around and threw it. Oh no animal cruelty! Woe is me. You assume further that because this man was playing rough with animals he is anti-social. Let go of your preconceived prejudices. Like utilitarians, you assume that the everyone has the same interest in mind, "the happiness for everyone", another unfounded assumption.

Playing rough? I saw boys play rough with animals as a child. I didnt find them antisocial. There is a difference.

It is clear that such treatment is done with malice and a desire to inflict pain. That is not the same as playing rough. That is torture. Anyone who tortures anyone (including animals) is a psychopath/sociopath. Ask any professional. Psychopaths/sociopaths are antisocial (against society). Anyone who is against society should not be a member.

"Ask any professional". And what are professionals but the modern gods you rely on for your 'answers'? The point is, you don't know anything about him, except one aspect the news reported which we don't even have a source as catwoman usually doesn't source.

If anything, perhaps he is 78 and senile, but that still doesn't mean animals have "rights". And if it is in his yard, he has a right to do what he wants within his property. I don't condone it, but then again I don't believe animals have rights.

But the point is you don't know that, and you are only assuming, as most humans do. And you know what they say, "assumptions are the mother of all phuck ups."

Because there is no evidence to suggest that someone who tortures squirrels will inevitably go out and rape a little girl, I would be difficult to see me agree with you. At 78 he probably can't even mastirbate, much less rape a little girl.
