Have any of you seen that thread? It's about a year old. I was kind of surprised to find it when I was browsing their archives.

It's pretty silly that such Fascist/Nationalistic/Imperialist peoples still exist. These people are always the most superficial, ignorant, arrogant, and after reading this message board you've linked me to, Armenians are no exception. I mean come on, it is shallow to think your so-called "bloodline", culture, language,etc is better than everyone else's. And since Armenia as a nation hasn't done anything significant to this world, there is no excuse for any of them to have any sort of pride.

Funny. I enjoy reading Maddox on occasion - good for a nice laugh - and he really does hit the mark on occasion - in a funny base sort of way (but the targets are way to easy really - I mean who can't make a mockery of such?)...but it appears his followers on that forum are just like him - no nothing big mouths who think they are someone and are perhaps saying something important that people should care about - not!

No - they (and you apparently) miss the point. The issue is that for us Armenians - a small in number people without huge conquests and such but with lots of national pride - well we are into this thing of individual Armenians doing well/being recognized and such. Its not debating if he is or not - its that if he is he is another one of us - and we think he is doing or is recognized as doing something noteworthy or worthwhile then we can look to him or point to others and say - see - he is one of us - and feel good about being Armenian. Anyway something like that. If you don't understand it its just because - your not Armenian!
