            I realized in the 8th grade. But after years of inner struggles, the full acceptance didn't come until the 12th grade. (It comes in steps. "Maybe it's just a phase...Okay, maybe I'm just bi." Then, "Crap, I'm really gay." lol)

            I started telling friends just after high school. By now all of my friends know. (I'm 22. 5 years out of high school.) I still haven't told my parents or any family members. I shiver at the thought.

                wow, you know, this guy i'm talking about, he told his mom right as she dropped him off at the airport when winter quarter started. basically, he literally shivered.
