I can understand if he really believes that he gave her a $20, but after it was verified that he, in fact, did not, he should have just let it go.
Imagine how that guy would react to someone being verbally abusive or something to him or a drunk person who took a swing at him. Seems to me that someone so explosive isn't best fit for a career as a police officer.
At least the girl got compensated. That definitely qualifies as a traumatic experience. *shakes head*
If that happened to anyone else, the police wouldn't go in and arrest her. Imagine that... people calling the police because they think a merchant short changed them. Yet they didn't find him guilty of any wrongdoing for trying to arrest her because she did it to him. Further, why did they pay her off if he didn't do anything wrong?It's cops like this that make people think negatively of the whole.
