Paris is a wonderful majical city (and the French are less bad then made out to be - in general) - it is truly a city that you owe yorself to experience at least once. The first time I was in Paris I had planned to stay for a few days - see the sites - move on - etc - ended up staying 3 weeks! (and still wished to be there longer). I've since returned perhaps 7-8 times - even my eldets child - who is 12 - has been there 5 times now! I also want to put in a word for visiting Paris in August - its so much less crowded and while not eveything is open a great deal is - and there are some restarants that you will never get reservations for or seating at any other time. While Paris in August is perhaps not the entire experience the benefits of the lesser crowds (and higher percentage of non-French people - lol) is that you can get around and see more things - and believe me the crowds, the traffic - etc - can be an issue at other times. New York is a great town as well - but if you can get to paris - do it! Of course many reasons to visit Armenia as well - but its an entirely different sort of thing...
