Kampot is a Russian version of fruit preserves with the juice. It's sweet because like most preserves it is loaded with sugar. It's basically a little less cooked than murabah or "varenie" (russian).

So is Kampot a Russian word? and would HYUT be a better word in Armenian or is there another word for Kampot?

It is prefered cold I guess, but when taken off the stove its hot. My mother usually let it cool then stored it in jars in the frige.

Hmm, well I'm not a kampot recipe expert, are you saying that cooking kampot longer would produce "varenie"?

I guess if you cook it long enough and possibly with less water?? Time to get the recipe book....

Good question: I think so. I think with a lot more sugar it would get to a murabah consistency (much thicker). God, just listen to me, I'm suddenly a freagin expert. For all I know I'm pulling this out of my HETUIK.

PS Kampot is a Russian word, although it might be borrowed from other languages. Most Russian words are.

My input would be to go to Armenia, i havent been there ever since i moved, basically about 10 years now and i would give almost anything to visit for about a month, you being a girl i assume dont have to worry about the draft or anything like that i would definately go, but as Siamanto said, its not our priorities its yours, but nevertheless i am pretty sure you would have a good time and if we as Armenians dont visit, who the hell will?

Paris sucks. The only two things good about that city are the amazing public transport system and the Louvre. The rest is all gay, the people suck, and everything is "french".
