And my favorite part of Chinatown is... "She's my sister! *slap* She's my daughter! *slap* She's my sister! *slap*"
Yea, that scene from Chinatown is classic. Jack Nicholson truly showed why he is Jack Nicholson. It also touched on the history of Los Angeles, and I remember during my American West history class, our professor recommended this film.

As for Sunset Blvd, it is interesting to note that Gloria Swanson was herself from the silent film actors' generation, and beautifully played Norma Desmond. Even her servant Max, was a silent film director Erich von Stroheim.

I would also add Casablanca, Trouble in Paradise, The Blonde Venus since I like both Herbert Marshall, as well as Marlene Dietrich.

They're going to be showing the cult classic film Reefer Madness on TV soon, that's what I'm going to be watching. I want to see what all the fuss is about.

I'm getting ready to start the Aviator. I hope I am not wasting my time for the next 3 hours.

For some reason, I didn't like that movie at all partly because it was full of something we call bullshyt.

            I didn't find it appealing.

Are you talking about the thirties version, or the movie musical that was made for cable?

Great, I just lost all my motivation. Maybe I should read my new Kevin T. book Natural Cures They Don't Want You To Know About .

You'll enjoy it if you're into Hollywood history and such. I found Leonardo DiCaprio totally miscast for the part, didn't like his performance at all. Cate Blanchett was great as Katherine Hepburn, though.

Both were about marijuana, so both.

Hey, it was just my opinion. If I were you I'd go for the book, but you should check out the movie for yourself and see what opinion you gather.
