Nah, I don't know. I think I might get a new computer faster than I thought, and that comes with the sound card I was talking about. Shouldn't I stick with that? I heard it was good.

I wouldn't It's like lowest bidder type of stuff to help keep PCs cheap. They work out big deals with the manufacturers and in turn to make a higher profit those manufacturers buy the least expensive components.

ddd put it nicely when he stated that M-Audio = Music and Audigy = Games. That's it in a nutshell. Hey X-Mas is right around the corner so maybe you could meet your family halfway for the MBox2 or some M-Audio interface! That might work ...

Tommy Boy I hop you don't actually want to buy the X-Box 360. Its mos def gonna be the weakest of the next gen systems. Imo PS3 will be the biggest leap in terms of graphics where the Revolution will be the most avant garde in terms of their controller. The X-Box 360 is really just a "bells and whistles" PC no better than the best Alienware system. Big whoop ... Microsoft think they're going to attain more of the market just because their system came out first, but the specs are in and everybody who has actually tried the different systems (minus PS3) say the X-Box is just not that "next gen".
