Okay, that is just too adorable for words.
Speaking of caterpillars, I should have taken pictures of the life cycle they drew as well. Either I get really nice details, or just circles and lines and a long story of what caterpillars and butterflies do. They also love drawing the same things over and over again. It becomes even more detailed each time. I love it!

I once found a caterpillar on the tree in the playground of my pre-school and put it in my pocket, made sure it stayed there on the school bus ride home and then showed it enthusiastically to my mom. She freaked out and forced me to throw it away

Probably the clearest memory I have from that time.

Bugs are very fun to learn about.

I love them equally, honestly! There was a ladybug that was just amazing too, and a wolf spider.
