    Re: The Vent Thread

Please use this thread for the purpose it was created. It's becoming rather ankap-like and if it continues I'm going to close it because we don't need two of them.

I am a bit pissed off. First, my post was deleted. That's no big deal. But, I also am dealing (again) with homophobia, and MUCH MORE. Yeah, I know that's always there. I'd like not, though. Beyond that, there are people who don't believe in climate change, etc. ... far worse.. don't care. Tropical forest and old growth deforestation are PRIORITY now... human life is and thats also why.

Fragments, thus on the vent thread.

      One micro-issue in the whole...

[sarcasm on]OMG homophobia among Armenians wow I'm shocked. And OMG OMG Armenians not particularly caring about the tropical forests ... hmmmm I wonder why .

Anahita, do you even know where Armenia is on the globe?[/sarcasm still on]

Ok I'm done venting until she comes back saying these are problems that effect us all the fuzzy-wuzzy global community. Then I shall vent again about how little knowledge is actually being displayed about Armenia and Armenians and some of the bigger and faaaaaaaar more pressing issues effecting the people's lives RIGHT NOW. Then she'll say "but oh the trees and the climate .. what can be more important? And what about the gays .. will anyone care for the poor gays that are not accepted." ... and the cycle will go on and on and on and on and on and on and on ...

You obviously don't know or appreciate the importance of what I am saying. Forests for Armenia are very much in danger--AND THE PEOPLE who depend on the ecology, like all on Earth. Armenian nature is VERY seriously in danger. The people (all people in Armenia) DEPEND on that.

Read a story ('red list' are the most internationally endangered species)

          DUH.

            Re: The Vent Thread

I bet you would be one of those people that would cry for the trees when people in Yerevan burned down everything they could get their hands on just to survive the harsh winters after the soviet collapse.

It's very easy for you to sit on your comfy chair behind your fancy internet connection protected by the security of the most powerful nation on Earth and demand acceptance for the gays and protection for the trees and forests when these people literally have NOTHING. Their entire existence is a daily struggle and you want them to worry about climate change? They have been beaten on by every god damn country on every border for millenia and you want them to put all that on hold and discuss the gays?

Oh how naive you truly are.

You don't know me at all. Poor bet.

              "*My* comfy chair, etc.?"

The poorest nations on Earth are THE MOST VOCAL about climate issues. They aren't heard, by most. Someone has to speak LOUD for them.

              Who closed that?

              Why?

              Otherwise, I would have responded.

Closed. I vent on THAT, alone.

                      ...

Also, I want to vent this: I never thought I could ever want anything bad for anyone. I've given birth. I changed my mind. Anyone who would hurt my child or me is in trouble. If they try, they rhyme.
