The implementation of the odious income tax in 1913 is what I'm getting at. So why do I pay taxes?

What luxuries? It has nothing to do with "luxuries". There are no "luxuries". You want luxury, buy a Lexus. Paying income taxes doesn't get you one.

Of course the question to which I'm getting at regarding the tax, has to do with our Federal Reserve system, and ultimately the banking system of the world, as this is not just a reflection in the U.S. but globally.
