I got a good recipe, but bread machine?
I don't know what your'e suggesting...
but I hope I'll remember to post the recipe...
it's from my granma... the best cheoreg you could ever make 8)
bro, choreg is Gods food. I know. I only know how to make rice....in a rice cooker. But I can tell you, if you learn how to make it, you are the champ. Champs eat wheaties. You should eat those, and then you will learn the secret of the choreg.
I'm always happy to try (yet another) cheoreg recipe - but the one I have now has served me quite nicely for a few years. Tastes just fab but well you all know about that )
I just want to cut the kneading out so I was wondering if anyone has tried to do the dough bit in a bread maker... I'm going to try it using my current recipe sometime (before Easter!) and see how that goes shock
I tested it tonight using my tried and tested recipe (no modifications) and set the machine to manual with 2 nice long rise cycles. I took it out after two rises, plaited it and cooked it a la conventional style. Its texture is just as good as the best I've made (and well as far as our family goes, my cheoreg is pretty popular lol)
I have to admit tho that it's rather odd to be baking cheoreg in July!
