You know this is hilarious - I was just googling Cheoreg again for something else and I found this... Janig66 seemed familiar then I realised that that was actually me!

I did find a solution for the bread machine. All the hard work is done by the machine now and the cheoreg has become a predictable and easy exercise.

All the kneading and rising happens in the machine except of course that I take it out, plait it and leave it for a final rise in a warm space - often just in an oven that was warm.

Instead of all that, just go buy it from an Armenian pastry store... it will save you all that hassle.
