      Re: Armenians in America

This is what makes life worth living! Isn't it wonderful to commiserate with your family over a nice meal? I wish we did an all Armenian Thanksgiving that would be my favorite. My family is too small ...

HEy Lambie...don't cry...the only Armenian I have contact with in my family is my dad...sad, I know...I don't even celebrate Thanksgiving, because I'm alone here in the US...my favorite holiday is Christmas because my parents taught that Christmas isn't about getting gifts, but getting together with your family and remembering the reason why we celebrate Christmas...

                  Re: Armenians in America

Hey Jen that's good stuff, seriously. Did you know that retail here in America does, I forget is it 2/3's or 3/4's of their business in the Winter season/quarter, whatever. We can't abandon it now (sarcasm)! X-Mas was cool last year and it should be cool this year. I'll be with my Dad who is Armo and aggro at the same time! He NEVER does ANYTHING remotely Armenian anymore, sux. My Mom who is primarily Irish holds down the Armenian traditions more than he does. She loves Armenian culture. My Dad is shameful in that respect ...
