  • The New Seven Wonders of The World

Only one of the original Seven Wonders of The World remains, and now, they are starting to vote for a new set of wonders. This has been going on for years, but on 07/07/07, (which is my album's release date!), they will announce the NEW Seven Wonders of The World!

You can take a look at the 21 finalists and vote for yourself at New7Wonders.

I voted for the Colosseum, Easter Island Statues, Eiffel Tower, Great Wall, Petra, Pyramids of Giza, and Stonehenge. My vote wasn't based on "looks". It was more based on what's more talked about in the world, what's more visited, and what's more important to me. Of course, some of those buildings looked way more beautiful than some of my votes, but still, it doesn't have much meaning to me. I consider them great, but not a wonder.

The Pyramids of Giza is apart of the current wonders, so I voted for it, to keep it in the game - just because it's an original site and it's still around. Stonehenge and the Easter Island Statues, I remember seeing them since I was a baby. Great Wall, just amazing. I wanted to vote for Jesus' statue, I guess I forgot to, but I guess I still wouldn't consdier that a "wonder". Go vote!

Modernity assigns too much self-importance both to the past and to itself. Someone needs to nuke the world.

My thoughts exactly ... probably will happen in some form in our lifetime due to the privatization of nuclear arms.

My vote ... the mushroom clouds over LA. That'll be a sight to behold!!
