He's lethal. He's loaded. He's angry. He's... trying to go home? Michael Douglas plays the deranged and easily irritable main character as well as loving father and husband in this movie. Robert Duvall is a cop who is about to retire from his job, who also has a crazy wife (totally unnecessary character by the way) and who may or may not be in love with his much younger female co-worker. And Frederic Forrest as a Nazi who attempts to sodomize Douglas. By the way, the whole homo-Nazi type character has become so cliche. The same kind of character(s) could be found in Pulp Fiction, American History X and American Beauty. So anyway, this movie wasn't as great as the IMDb fanboys made it seem. Last time I listen to those lamers. (3/5)
