Well, it is typically a name given to males (as Sip said) an example is my aunt's husband
Siamanto is a pen name that was assumed by a male poet and may be used to name either a boy or a girl; it is not even an Armenian First Name. You know a single male person who was probably named after Siamanto, the poet, and you use the word "typically???"
Why not something like: "Because it was used as a pen name by a male poet, it would be rather used to name a boy child than a girl?" Too moderate or more accurate for your taste???
Honestly, I wonder if there are - or has been - enough Armenians - around the world - named "Siamanto" in order to use the word "typically."
but 'our' Siamanto here is definitely a 'she' based on her previous posts.
Is your use use of the word "definitely" as "accurate???" as the use of "typically??" How "definite" is your conclusion? Is it based on something "typically" feminine in me? Just curious.
If I know one Armenian who misuses the words "definitely" - and "typically" - so can I say that "Typically, Armenians misuse the words 'definitely' and 'typically'?"
LOL Siamanto "is typically a name given to males?????" *wonders how many of us have known, in real life , Armenians with First Name "Siamanto." probably none or almost none of us. wonders how it can be typically??? *
WOW, two pages to verify if Siamanto is a 'he' or 'she'. Well, it is typically a name given to males (as Sip said) an example is my aunt's husband , but 'our' Siamanto here is definitely a 'she' based on her previous posts.
Entirely my point ... somehow now "man made Global Warming" has become the "ethical" point of view. The same kind of "ethics" that battle tooth and nail to preserve "natural environments" like in the California Sierras or Utah, only to see it all go up in flames in a matter of days. How much did the recent Lake Tahoe fires contribute to "Man Made Global Warming" I wonder ... how about the massive fires in Utah?
Well, it would help if he wasn't so touchy about disagreements.
I am still amused by your repeated attempts to calumniate, considering that you went ballistic with an alarmist and emotional rant only because I said:
I attribute it to a simplistic "polar" view of certain topics (not referring to Siamanto here but such topics in general) ... if you are not a believer of "Global Warming" (I use it to refer to the man made one as there is no doubt the Earth is on a "warming trend"), then you must be a worthless destroyer of the plant. If you are not "for the war in Iraq", then you must be a terrorist or one who is inviting terrorists to come take over everything. If you are not a "Creationist", then you must be for "evolution", if you are not "for gay Marriage", you are a "homophobe", if you are not for "Affirmative Action", then you are a member of the KKK etc etc etc.
Unfortunatley with "Global Warming", there is a strong movement to paint those who don't necessarily buy into the progressively commercialized "hoopla" around it as somehow unenlightened idiots that fail to see the "truth". When in fact, no reputable scientist will make such grand and definitive claims based on the very little data we actually do have (again, I am not for nor against the idea of man-made global warming).
I was watching Dennis Miller a few days ago and he made a very funny joke about how the Earth's temperature is going up by like 1/2 a degree here and there ... and his comment was something like ... oh yah, because they had really perfected the thermometer back in 1905.
I for one see a lot of parallels about how Siamanto chooses to back up his claims about me with how he chooses to back up his claims about "man made Global Warming". Basically, if you dare to disagree with him, you must be an idiot by definition.

No, just one more, which is why we are off-topic to begin with, why did you avoid the article I posted and instead chose to go into a personal route with Sip?
Nice try...considering that I was simply replying to your question! LOL Maybe, I should ignore you in the future????
You'll get the reply to that "article."
P.S. Please keep in mind that I simply replied to Hot Air Sip's posts who continued to whine like a cry baby even after I suggested that I may not reply anymore. And I was really amused when he continued his whining with PMs that I simply ignored.
When people ask for it then they'll get it and should not, afterwards, whine like a cry baby.
The fact that you still have no clue of what may have happened may suggest that either you're not a fine reader and/or you may be letting your emotions influence your reading????? Try to be less one track minded.
Good idea! Does it mean that you're done with the "out of subject" questions?
