***************************************
AS I SEE IT
***********************
My guess is victims of corruption and incompetence
outnumber victims of wars and massacres?
*
Belief systems that develop a bureaucracy
become instruments of the devil.

Smart is good but not the kind that assumes
you are an idiot.

The ultimate aim of all power is to allow one

ENEMY #1
****************************
Our divisions are divisions of the brainwashed.
Eliminate brainwashing and we will have
no more divisions.
*
Dupes are eminently brainwashable.
*
We are a nation of triple victims:
victims of incompetence,
victims of corruption,
and victims of systematic conditioning
(i.e. brainwashing).
*
To speak of wars and massacres
is to speak of dupes in action.
*
We are not the smartest people on earth.
We are the dumbest.
*
Whoever first told you Armenians are smart
is your #1 enemy.

fallacies
ON FALLACIES
*******************************
The most widespread fallacy
in the history of mankind:
If you have God and Country on your side,
you can’t go wrong.
*
My guess is – and it is a guess
only in the sense that 99% of it is certainty –
the overwhelming majority of Turks and Armenians
are either half-Turks or half-Armenian.
In that sense, it would more accuate to say
what happened in 1915 was not genocide
but fratricide.
*
Whoever said “Celibacy is hell on earth
but a bad marriage is worse,”
knew what he was saying.

All these similar posts should be put in a single thread, as they once were (I don't know why Ara decided to changed things). Almost none are true threads since few people respond to the initial post, the initial post is not really written to be responded to, and the Ara rarely if ever replies to any response posts anyway.

If you think of the 99% as sheep
and the 1% as wolves,
you may have a better understanding
of the human condition.

When Hamlet said
“There is something rotten in the State of Denmark”
he was talking about the 1%.

Gulbenkian was a smart operator.
All that chauvinist and Turcocentric crapola
of our propagandists had no effect on him.
He left 93% of his money to odars.

Re: decline
Ara nobody hates your dishonesty but I do hate you starting one thread after another and filling it with garbage. I think you would do well if instead of making a million empty threads you would make Armenian fortune cookies. You would be doing the exact same thing you do here but you might make some money at to.

DECLINE AND FALL

A few years ago an Armenian real-estate developer

GRUB FIRST

Intellectuals, academics, writers:
they tend to be more tolerant
of political and religious leaders
than of the competition.
Remember Ezra Pound on Hitler:
“a Jeanne d’Arc, a saint.”
*
“Sometimes you go too far,”
a reader tells ms.
Who is to decide how far is too far?
In the eyes of our 1% and their dupes
the fact that I am alive
is already too damn far.

Under a ruthless bloodthirsty dictator
an entire nation can go insane
as surely as a vulnerable, defenseless,

but both sides can be
and usually are dead wrong!

Status quo:
Morally defunct, militarily irrelevant.
