    FROM WHERE I STAND
    **************************************
    When told I am anti-Armenian, I say:
“Honesty is not a crime against humanity.”
    *
    Our academics are not dupes;
    they only pretend to be.
    Call it a survival tactic.
    *
We all live in our own world
    with its own cardinal points
    and pope.

    How true!

Stories on adultery are bound to be a hit, even with average authors!

    To me, literature, real literature,
has nothing to do with fornication
and everything to do with saying
    what must be said.

    “Workers of the world unite;

    NOTHING IS FOREVER
    ************************************
On the day we achieve true freedom and independence,
99% of our 1% will be arrested, tried, and found guilty
    on grounds of corruption, incompetence,
    and collaboration with the enemy.
    *
    Wishful thinking?
    Unbelievable?
What is really unbelievable is our present situation,
and more precisely, the fact that
    after long centuries of subservience
    to brutal alien regimes,
    massacres and two genocides
    (“red” and “white”)
we continue to treat our status quo
as if it were an inevitable fact of life
about which there isn’t much we can do
except drop our pants and bend over.

    We are casualties of history.
Our most important contribution has been
    “a house divided against it.”

    MEN OF HONOR
    *******************************
    We love to give advice
even when we know it will be ignored,
because we all love to assert
    our superior understanding of reality.
    *
Friends and relatives have been unanimous
in advising me to join a political party.
I assume all boys in Sicily
are warned at an early age
    that their options are limited.
    *
In case you don’t know, “mafioso”
in Sicilian dialect means “man of honor.”
    *
    If I am not mistaken,
the word for pimp in Turkish is “pezeveng”
and our environment is full of them.

    THE GOOD AND THE BAD
    ***************************************
When I was young things were much simpler:
    Turks bad, Armenians good.
    *
    Sultan Abdulhamid II was half-Armenian.
    Question: Which half slaughtered Armenians?
    I am not casting aspersions;
    just asking a question.
I do hope you don’t consider asking questions
    a capital offense.
    *
Armenians are not as had as I describe them.
    I agree.
    Some are worse!
    *
We have done more harm to ourselves
    than all our enemies combined.
If we were to segregate the good from the bad,
my guess is one side would declare genocidal war
    against the other.
    *
    To see the light is a rare privilege;
to see the darkness a universally common experience.
Again, I am not casting aspersions,
    just expressing a statistical opinion.

    FRAGMENTS
    ************************
God may not be an atheist
but He sure behaves like one.
Consider the number of innocent victims
he witnessed without lifting a finger.
    *
Contemporary life is a “theater of the absurd”
one of whose three founders was an Armenian.
    Surprised?
    I am not!
    *
We are brought up to believe
it is a mortal sin to criticize men of God,
but it’s okay to criticize them
if they belong to a rival gang.
    *
I think of my fellow countrymen collectively
    as serial killers of writers.
    *
In such plays as HAMLET and RICHARD III
    Shakespeare makes it abundantly clear
    that the 1% are xxxxs.

    Q/A
    ****************
Q: Why do you write as you do?
A: Because I hate propaganda, lies and deception,
especially when I am the target.
Q: You must be naďve to think we are the only ones
    who engage in propaganda.
Allow me to enlighten you, my friend.
Propaganda and deception are as old as mankind,
A: So is rape and murder.
Does that mean they should be covered up and ignored?
If deception is an integral part of human existence,
why condemn Turks for engaging in it?
Why waste millions trying to convince the world
the Genocide is not a figment of our imagination?
What makes you think we are such cowardly idiots
who are incapable of facing facts and confronting reality?
What if the real reason you engage in deception
is to maintain your image as competent leaders
who deserve the loyalty and support of the people?
