Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

If I think white people are superior, would I advocate banning interracial marriage? No. I don't care. It's none of my business. I could perhaps go on an awareness campaign to get people on my side with regards to opinions, which is perfectly OK. But I would NOT ask for the banning of interracial marriages, no matter how much I despise them (hypothetically).
Don't worry though. I accept you. I just don't accept your political constitutuents that are a vociferous group bent on allying with Leviathan for their ends.

The problem begins with the State itself. The State shouldn't have even been authorized to legalize marriages. Marraiges should have remained outside of the boundaries of the State to begin with that is why you have this confusion now because the State wants to be in everyones private life.

It is really not right to change your view about a group of people because of one bad experience. Really. Especially since you had the other good experience to balance out the two! You'd be surprised how many people violate this simple principle every day of their lives and try to fit square pegs into round holes, ignoring the clear reality that things are as they are. You cannot bend and shape people to fit whatever form you'd like them to be. True story. Learn to live with it or else life is going to be rather unpleasant for you.

Everytime you read, you are reading someone elses ideas who in turn is using someone elses. I hate to dissapoint your "uniqueness". I never used the Bible once in my argument nerfbrain. Stop assuming things. Do you think the Framers were Atheists? They were Deists. This has nothing to do with the Constitutional Separation of Church and State, since todays society is a pale comparison of what the American Republic was to the Framers. Thus anything these days can be "unconstitutional" since that is the inherent flaw in language that can be interpreted in any way.

In that case, so are yours so stop using that as an argument.

I did not say that you mentioned the Bible, pube. Again, read what people type.

And what the feck is your point in that last part? Non sequitur.

The fact is that there is no arguement in support of making homosexual marriage illegal. The government, cannot just say no. It does not matter that you feel the language is inadequate and that the constitution is malleable and, therefore, unrepresentative. It is there and should be followed. Whether it is or not is of no consequence. I suppose a comprimise would be, the government gives the power to the state to decide, because marriage law is state governed, and the state puts it on a ballot. That is what you want, right? The majority to decide, which by the way you kept tossing out there as if there was an official vote. I can guarantee that the majority in many states would let it pass; especially California and Hawaii. And one state is all it takes.

Unfortunately, for you, your above post shows an ignorance of the American Constitution. The "it should be followed" phrase is completely without merit since if that is to be true, we wouldn't be called a "democracy", nor would we have an IRS, a Federal Reserve, nor the worthless fiat money that you have, nor the income tax.

I cannot believe the ridiculous freaking argueements I'm reading for voting "NO".

While I don't agree with the lifestyle, agreeing is not a prerequisit for understanding, so I leave it to them to do what they like. We as humans in general are SICK control freaks, always in need of answers, always in need of carved out paths. It is the reason pop-culture is so big, it is the reason trends are set, it is the reason relgions are formed, governments are made, and lifestyles are established.

fstkhnan: How about Armenians get banned from Cali because there are so many bad examples of us there? Take one trip into the AC chat, and you'll see what I mean. You want all of America to think Armenians are garbage because of those examples? Hell, I AM Armenian, and even I felt ashamed. You know what people with views like yours remind me of? The Turks. They believed we had a WRONG and unatural faith, and so they tried to ban our existence, much like you want to ban the existance of homesexuals. Oh, and that whole "it's not natural" argueement is just moronic. Just because YOU think it's unnatural or wrong doesn't mean it IS. You know what else isn't natural by definition of human instinct? Going to the bathroom only in appointed facilities, wearing clothes in the summer time, and monogamous relationships. These are all things taught by society, just as society teaches being gay is wrong. And last I checked, the world is already going to hell in a hand basket, and it sure as hell ain't because "homosexual marriages are on the rise". It's heterosexuals who are cruel, unkind, and not in love with the people they marry (i.e. Joe Millionaire, and 90% of the heterosexual marriages out there), thus resulting in thoughtless, self centered, self absorbed offspring who continue to perpetuate this cycle. Have I bled your point dry yet?

God damn, people. Wake up out of the comma the program has put you in and stop being a pawn in their game of control! If YOU find warmth and comfort being wrapped in the blanket of confinement, that's YOUR problem. Don't get mad at those who have cut themselves loose from the strings of their shepard puppeteers!
