Then, you can't say that A caused B, because there are other explanations available.

So, this article seeks to provide an alternate explanation, thus weakening the arguement that the explanation for the resurrection is that he was god or the son of god or whatever.

I thought it was an interesting article and thought to share it with you, hoping that you might find it amusing as well.

It's not my intent to discourage any of you from being religious. I understand that it's based on faith, but some of us actually like to evaluate things and try to come to our own conclusions.

The fact that a certain topic is contained in an EDITED book or is part of a religion does not mean it is not open to discussion.
Thank you for pointing out how science works. In all my ignorance I was unaware, jee and thank God I came to the forums to witness science eplained for dummies. However, I must warn you, like I warned loser, and the dusken, that science itself is based on faith, since its original premise is a metaphysical assumption, namely that all knowledge comes through research, and not revelation.

Perhaps if you would post something intelligent people would not assume you were in need of "science for dummies".

It's not that I have nothing to post, its that pseudoiintellectuals that have supposedly discovered how science works are enthralled and want to show off how "logical" and "rational" and "empirical" they can be by attempting to debunk religion, since its soo cool to show off their skills, to show that their views are solid, but in the end science doesnt answer any more of the questions that religion tangles with, and all it does is add new name, to hide our ignorance. Anyway, I'm not really good with fools, but a wise man that is good with fools wrote something once along the lines of "Scram".

Actually science is busy showing off by creating and improving technology. Everything else is just for fun.

Excessive use of the words "Satanist," "unique," and "fetish" are sure signs of "I have nothing to say." No one is talking to me? Such a comment is another sure sign of "I have nothing to say" and is used by all of the degenerates on the forum as if when I post something and someone responds negatively it is because I was specifically referring to that individual.

Yea, that's the essence of modernity, all about progress, but not spiritual progress, material progress. But material progress without spiritual progress is pointless, and who needs it?

You act as if spiritual progress has one possible source. And, you assume that one involved in science feels no spiritual gain. And, you throw out "spiritual progress" as if it actually had a meaning. I get my spiritual gains from art, music, literature, family, friends and science.

Spiritual progress or rather spiritual exaltation can occur only when we recognize that we are spiritual beings tied to a spiritual creator, not the material world.
