Has anyone read "Starving Armenians" by Merrill D. Peterson? I just bought the book today.

Nope, never heard of it. But I want to read Peter Balakian's The Burning Tigris. I saw it at the bookstore the other day, but I didn't have enough money to buy it.

Nairi, just because we're Armenians doesn't mean we shouldn't read non-Armenian literature.

Well considering I've been reading books by American and British authors all my life and only started reading up on Armenian literature and history in the last, oh, six months, forgive me if I want to read books my pseudo-intellectual morons writing about their grandmothers.

Everyone read what they want, and what we've agreed on as Voonegut, and those other armenian books. We can discuss them all...im going for vonnegut first of all!

OO and by request I did get The confession by St. Augustine..only cause Anony said I had to read it........
