Actually, I wouldn't mind reading your first suggestion Nairi, since some people expressed concern that they may not beable to purchase the book.

I'm sorry, but I can't find Armenian books (even in translation) here [neither in libraries nor bookstores], and I don't have credit card (or enough money) to order a book. :\

Let's then go for Narek until you get a job and save a few dollars to buy it.

No problem, if that's what everyone agrees on.

Well I would suggest you guys read Mein Kempf.
When the World Wide Web was born, things were quite simple. The internet supported just one device (the PC) and the browsers available were too primitive for me.

OK guys, so are we reading Vonnegut or an Armenian book? Come on, let's get this thing going. I'm in for Vonnegut, and if you guys want an Armenian book that's available in the library, that's cool too - just mention it soon..

Even though I doubt I'll be able to participate in this reading club since school is about to start for me in a few weeks I strongly recommend this book: Absolutely America: Four Year at West Point

I had to read it over the summer for school, and even though reading about the US Military and the life at West Point would seem boring it actually was really good. Lipsky introduces different characters (their real people, nothing is fiction) and basically takes you on a journey through four years at WestPoint starting with the class of 1999 to the class of 2002.

Anyways, I highly doubt this book would get choosen, I just wanted to recommend it, and hope if you dont choose to read this book now than maybe you can read it later in your spare time.

OK, I'm going on with my Vonnegut. If anyone wants to join me, feel free. I can't believe how lazy you guys are. My school is starting in a month, so if you guys wanna get something done before that, at least something that I can take part in anyway (if anyone cares), it's gotta be now. lol. Bah.
