Yah but how many missiles are pointed at them and how many countries are ready to march in and tear every single one in Israel apart? If I were in that position, I'd build up a defensive AND a hell of a offensive might.

With Hesbollah hanging at the door, I'd have done the exact same thing as Israel. And I actually do believe that cleaning up the hesbollah from the area is good for Lebanon too in the long run.

Israel due to its cancer-like infiltration of the region that has created enormous suffering, a giant power imbalance, and the largest refugee problem in the world cannot afford not to be a warmonger. I just pray US doesn't get involved more than it has already.

Israel is at fault here, not Hamas, and not Hezbollah. If Israel can use violence for political gains, so can the A-rabs.

Furthermore, regardless of all that, focus on this present instability alone. It was initiated by Israel, no one else. It is entirely Israel that has escalated this and started war. Israel had no right to bomb and attack Lebanon, yet it did and America said Israel can do what it wants, thanks to the Zionist control of this government and our tax dollars that are supporting the Zionist racket.

Hahah, you know, up until this, I was on Israel's side. ...Killing civilians, bombing airports AND highways is not a good way to try to convince the world you are not terrorists, though...AND, isn't the Israeli army doing this? Not just a terrorist group, but, the actual government is striking at Lebanon...the country, not just the terrorists I don't think I can side with Israel on this one and I hope that we, the US, disciplines Israel, seeing as how we are the world's police & all...

Can anyone doubt that Israel is nothing but a warmonger in the Middle East?

After two of its solders are kidnapped (boohoo) it unleashes war upon the region. Quite frankly, I am tired of Israel. It has been nothing but a drain on America financially, militarily and politically. It has been at the heart of the discord in the Middle East and these recent events only confirm Israeli's blood lust.

Hamazienem...The USA does not have a horse in this race. We should stay nuetral, bt the Bush adminitration makes it clear that the USA's foriegn policy is nothing but an extention of Isreal's.
Moreover, I believe the Bush administration is in in cahoots with Isreal in order to start a war with Iran.

How biased is the US media?...from the begining they posted the picture of the kidnapped Isreali soldier as if it was a US soldier. Does anybody else find this odd?
