  • Re: War in The Middle East

For the sake of both Lebanon and Israel , Hezbollah needs to be eradicated. These fanatical shiite terrorists have held the people of Lebanon hostage for way too long. Israel has always strived to live in peace with Lebanon. Lebanon unlike the rest of the surrounding Arab countries does not have a history of hostility vis a vis Israel. Lebanon was once majority Christian and the "paris of the middle east". The latter people wanted nothing more than to live in peace with other civilized countries. That is untill the fanatical Mullah followers-who have a much higher birthrate- followers decided to destroy it and turn it from a beautiful open pro-western country to a backward fanatical cesspool. The poor Maronite Christians (may God protect them)have been reduced to a pitiful state and have fled the country in droves over the last several decades-which is exactly what hezbollah wanted to achieve.

The people of Israel are sick of being submitted to constant attacks by Hezbollah on its soldiers and civilians. The kidnapping was the straw that broke the camel's back. Hopefully this war will achieve the desired results for both the land of Israel and the land of the cedars.

I am by nature optimistic and I hope that Lebanon will once again be restored to its former glory and the relationship between Israel and Lebanon will be like those of biblical times.

          Entire Lebanon Population Support Hezbollah

          01.08.2006 17:27 GMT+04:00

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ The Armenian community of Lebanon, as the entire population of the country, believes that Hezbollah is an important part of the country population, which is represented in the Parliament and the Government, Head of Hay Dat Office, ARF Dashnaktsutyun Bureau member Kiro Manoyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

«Entire population of Lebanon support Hezbollah in response to unceasing bombardment of peaceful population by Israel. The Armenian community is a part of the country’s population as well,» Manoyan underscored.

Obviously, complete disregard for fact and truth doesn't only run rampant among denizes and bookmakers, it runs among hebrewdudes as well. This post smells like the posts made by turks who come here and talk of Armenian terrorists massacring peace loving Turks.

Lebanon is Maronite Christian and should revert back to Christian rule immediately. Its the land where Jesus walked and preached.

Lebanon was a peaceful beautiful prosperous country when the christian were in control. For some reason whenever fanatical muslims become the majority they stir up war and unrest wherever they are in the world.

The fact is Israel has been the poison of the region from day one. The crazy Shi'ites and the like are the violent reaction of the region to the poison in the first place. You cannot push a man against a precipice and stifle the said man's sense of dignity and freedom and then be shocked when that man does something crazy to get you off of him.

But what do you think is the reason that these extremist groups came to be in the first place? They are either 1) reactions to American-Israeli history of aggression, or, as in the case of Hamas or the Taliban 2) created by American or Israeli support.

There have been many kidnappings before and Israel always engaged in exchanges. Why pretend this is any different? Why engage in a disproportionate response of bombing the rest of Lebanon? Nevermind the fact that the Israeli soldiers, as was already pointed out, were kidnapped on the other side of the border. Why does Israel blame Lebanon for not dismantling Hezbollah, but when Israel occupied Lebanon from 1982, even it could not dismantle Hezbollah? Israel will also not be able to eradicate Hezbollah this time around either.

If anything, this war will be worse of Israel as Israel is in a lose-lose situation now. Israel has lost it's awe. In the Six Day War in 1967 it defeated several Arab countries and their armies. This present conflict has been going on for over six days and against a guerrilla force of about 3,000 to 4,000 fighters. In guerrilla warfare tactics, the longer the smaller guerrillas survive and stand against the Israeli juggernaut, that for them is a moral victory, as the rest of the Middle East cheers for them. If anything, Hezbollah's resistence and Israeli's poor planning has taken away the awe that Israel once held as the superpower of the region. When lightly armored guerrillas numbering a few thousand can withstand the Israeli assault, that definitely changes the nature of the conflict.

I am not a fan of Hezbollah or fanatic Muslims, but you must realize that Israel's behavior (and America's) is a causal factor in breeding such fanaticism.

Hello? You are talking to Armenians here, not Arabs. We know better than that. Just look at the UN Resolutions made against Israel and you will see how kind and loving Israel is perceived by Lebanon and the world.

Your precious Moronites are anti-Armenian. Lebanon was doing just fine until Israeli terrorists started attacking it.

The people of Israel are sick of being submitted to constant attacks by Hezbollah on its soldiers and civilians. The kidnapping was the straw that broke the camel's back. Kidnap, kidnap yap yap yap. Those stinking Israeli terrorists were CAPTURED while conducting a raid within Lebanon. Everyone in the region is sick of the fact that since you entered, you have driven out most of the Christians. They are sick of the fact that you xxxs introduced terrorism into the Middle East. They are sick of the fact that you just cannot get along with anyone. They are sick of your racist aparthied state. They are sick of your phony victim act.

Only if is Israel is disarmed will they be compelled to live in peace with their neighbors. Israel should be disarmed BEFORE Hezbollah.
