I somehow get the feeling that in order for a guy to be cool with a girl he's with who has been with even 20+ men, he would've needed to have gone through quite a few women himself and experienced sex in a way other than just as the glue for a relationship. He'd probably have become more comfortable with the idea of women having sex with as many people as he has along the way too, otherwise he probably would not have gotten sex with that many people to begin with (unless he's some kind of privileged member of a very misogynous society).

I guess you could call me old fashioned; but I don't agree for a woman to have sexual relations before marriage. I just don't think that it's good moral standards and I don't think Armenian men in general would appreciate or would like loose women. Also, generally men would like to fight their way through to find out the sexuality of a woman and how she would be in bed; and the minute a woman gives herself away completely, usually the yearning and all the work for the man to get there starts subsiding. I think the longer a woman keeps her sexuality under covers the more alluring she would be for the man and it'll give him something hard to work for.

I dont think you can demand from everyone too get married. Not everyone are suited to get married...or would make good mothers or wives...that goes for men too(especially) . But you're really talking about woman and not men. If you want to save yourself for your husband that is one thing, but why degenerate others that don't or dont want to? You say that it will give they man something harder to work for, what you're doing is they completly opposite, acting like a xxxxx. Do you think there is nothing more in this world more important that it can give you, then sex? You are limiting yourself to just that (edit: into only beeing a sex object).

Of course I don't expect everyone to get married; but we were discussing here in the heterosexual kind and to the fact that most people would still prefer to get married; have their own child/children and form a family like our parents. Some wouldn't, I wasn't talking about them and yes I was mostly talking about women's sexual behaviours. This is my own standards and morals; everyone is free to speak their mind and I don't think I can persuade anyone to do anything they are going to do it differently anyways. People's standards in comparison within the past 50 plus years have subsided and the mores and ethics have changed dramatically to be much looser. I think that when Armenian men decide to marry an 'odar' woman they set different standards than if they would marry an Armenian woman. In other words, they become more stricter and more demanding with Armenian women than with 'odar' women. It's not just me saying the above about holding out for sex; but it's a known factor that the longer a woman holds out for sex the more interesting she becomes and she would hold his interest longer if she plays her cards right.

And yes, of course I know that there is more to a relationship than sex; but read the heading of this thread which states to be "Virgin or Non-Virgin". It's all about sex. Frankly in a good and a healthy relationship; sex and intimacy are very important and it is the bond between a man and a woman.

Seriously 70 virgins, Imagine you and 70 virgins going at it 1 at a time maybe even 2 and each time you have to teach them everything you know and what to do, i prefer some experience.

So once you get married and give yourself to him what else would he have to work for? It's partly already setting up for failure. And if you think about it that way, you're selling your body for love. You entice him, but deny him, unless he treats you right and courts you, and then proposes and marries you, so he can take care of you, and then he can have you.

OK there are two subject matters here, I guess I have to spell it out:

a) For the more conventional ones virginity is expected before marriage.

b) For in today's mentalities; (and this is for the ladies only) it's OK to have it when IN LOVE, but wait it out for a while to have both his interest for a longer period of time and possibly his respect as well.

After marriage, of course if it only pertains to sexual relations you will have to have the honeymoon and hopefully for the rest of your life too; but there are other ways to have a man to keep coming back to you and yearn for you time and time again. And yes while you are having constant sexual relations with him there are ways to have the flame on for always. And it's not only about sex; but other things too, btw; open communication, similar worldly passions, understanding, love, respect, appreciation, spending valuable times together and finally patience.

I'm missing something here Anoush. What part of Azad's opinion got you so pissed off? Would you not agree that too many people in the so called "west" have very lax morals? And to make matters worse it has spread to the former communist countries and other parts of the world.

That is how I took his post, that it in the long run it doesn't matter if you plan on living in the "west", that eventually the society which has been so corrupted by various facets will drive either you or a loved one to be just as decadent and self absorbed as everyone else.

I made the mistake to be part of the West. I take the whole responsibility to face my own reality. You will too, one day.

Why was my post deleted?

For God's sake people look around you. 80% divorces in the West and everyone is chasing a momentary "happiness". There is a new word for it "soulmate". I have lived in many European countries and have seen their gradual decay, but the American society is the worse at best.
