Levon, unfortunately there are @ssholes of both sexes.

Tali, I know some polys... think there's also an open invitation to mingle too.

Backfire? Nah. I think even saints don't wish happiness upon those who hurt them. Human nature. Karma only works if you believe in it (i.e. you associated good events with good deeds, and bad events with bad deeds) otherwise it's total BS.

Under western "democracy" minorities always win majority; setting up new ugly moral "values" for all.

Oh, Gegev, always an interesting voice to hear from. I'm not sure if I even want to bother explaining to you what this thread is about, because you never seem to care anyway. But, whatever, I'll try again to get through that thick skull of yours:

Gegev, the original point was so that outsiders could see what you, the insiders, thought was the "ideal Armenian man." every culture has their own standards. There is no "universally accepted concept" -- if there was, then there would just be the "ideal man" and standards, but every culture upholds different values. I wanted to know specifically what they were for Armenians.

The "minorities" (me) did not ask what the "ideal Armenian man" was with the intention of "accepting" or "rejecting" the values that Armenian males hope to aspire towards. I simply wanted to know as I am of a different culture than you.

As usual, you are quick to assume this idea of "Western 'Democracy' Minorities". I find it hard to believe you got your master's degree in business administration with the way you always bring this up. Since you insist on going way off into lala land, I'll try to be very simple so that you can understand: there was no hidden agenda to change the values of Armenians.

If you even bothered to read this, I hope you were able to get your head out of your xxx and stop nibbling on your colon long enough to be able to understand the basic ideology that everyone else seemed to have understood (except you, as per usual) before entering this discussion.

I'd offer you to try again in posting your opinion of what you think the ideal Armenian man is but I know you'll just change fonts of various phrases because you're too scared to be blunt about what you really think and only imply.

Might get enough attention between a few though.
                      That part is kinda appealing.
