The focus on gay topics in the US is to discourage thinking about serious issues. To begin with, the average american population is not well read or educated and could easily be diverted by topics of not great significance.
Finally, marriage is a form of prostitution that is officiated by the church.
This gay marriage is just another part of the theater.

Sounds to me like you are trying to say the poor are poor because they work less than the rich?
