I'll let you answer that one yourself, if you don't know what the difference is

I'm not actually seeking advice here. More like testing the waters of what people think in different groups. Perhaps the tongue-in-cheek generalization was not as clear as in person would be, but people do have different motives...

A bit more than just sex. More like long-term romantic connection, often resulting in or eventually pursuing a possibility of marriage.

if you think a 63 year old man like yourself finds it normal to date a 20 year old which is still not an adult, legal age is (21)...then you have major issues.
Did you read the post you quoted? I used 20 to indicate no teenagers and by common sense inference no children. You put words in my mouth by saying by saying "I find it normal". You don't speak for me. You don't represent me. And it appears you are the one with major issues and you need to grow up.

I said no one under 20. Meant this --- no teenagers --- what's left? Answer --- children and adults.
So let me clarify. I will not "date" children or teenagers. What's left? Answer --- adults.
If the writing isn't big enough you need to move closer to the wall.

Probably because they can't hit on girls 15 years younger in the real world. Once you get out of the realm of school and education, the real world for most careers/occupations is like prison with limited contact with the opposite sex .

Age is just a number but it's an important number. Females are most attractive, vibrant and fertile when they are young. After 35, they start searching for the fountain of youth. Men on the other hand tend to look better with age (minus the male pattern baldness).

Like Artash already said, it would be a more normal world if people didn't "try" to hit on anyone and just work on their education, skills, hobbies and careers and let cupid do the rest.

We are hung up on generational commonalities and have forgotten that behind all the tech toys and "social networking" are people who share common emotions and feelings. It seems that dating today is based on shallow and narrow-minded views of society.

The PHD comment was me being humorous. It is possible that a young "savant" exists and has made these accomplishments at a surprisingly early age. I do not believe the maturity of an adult in personal physical relationship would, can or should follow. Was only joking. Am I clear on that?
