Does anyone know which hand does an engagement ring go on in Armenian tradition and why?

In most western countries, the ring is placed on the left hand on the finger next to the pinky.

Grats if your getting hitched but really i doubt the which hand is much of an issue. I would put it on whichever hand/finger she extends lol.

lol... I'm pretty sure it goes on the right hand during engagement as per Armenian tradition. Some European countries do this as well. I think the same goes for hrya tradition
