I coudln't tell if you were talking about my ring or if you were talking about them in general. I'm quite aware of the 4Cs thank you.

Are you a webtrained gemologist? You can tell that by looking at a picture. You're off a little by the way. Why is it important anyway?

undergrads? are you one? or a grad student? just wondering

That was some serious interpolation. I said it wasn't an engagement ring Violette. I didn't said it didn't mean anything.

No no..we're not misjudging you sweetheart. Sometimes you have to expect people to react a certain way because I just don't see how that pic had anything to do with the thread. If you were to tell us how me might have surprised you with it in your cake, or in your champagne glass, that would be beautiful, but the fact that you just flat out posted a pic with a ring gave us the wrong impression. No worries sweetheart, I don't think you're materialistic...Now...let's get on with it!! What else has your bf done for you???

The perception of an act being romantic is entirely individual.

Perfect response to that silly argument. Thanks!

As for me... Ahh where to begin. Haha, kidding. The most romantic thing anyone's ever done for me was sending me 11 red roses and a plane ticket with the request that I come get the 12th rose from him on my birthday. Of course he turned out to be a liar and a cheat so all that was null and void (and I didn't go). I've had a lot of bits and peices of romantic gestures like flowers and stuff but the current best (which you might not think is romantic, but was the sweetest thing ever to me) is someone who hates mushrooms more than anything in the world, like they are poisonous fungus, actually swallowing one just because I said I wouldn't go out with him if he didn't eat one (I was kidding, of course! ).

You think that act of idiotic desperation was romantic? Come on, I know you can't stand pushovers.

Sounds like what my 1st grade "boyfriend" did for me. I told im that I didn't like his name, Armen, and wanted to change it to Bobo and he said OK! LMAO Everyone called him Bobo after that....how sad. I was a little kid.
