You want something romantic? Well I'll tell you something that is unmatched in it's ideal romanticism.Originally posted by duskenNothing anybody has posted in here is romantic. It is all fruity, unimaginative, retarded nonsense.

This one dude, sent me a message once so romantic that I almost lost my speech. He mentioned that he recently bought "certain" rings, a paddle and a whip, all fresh and waiting for me. And yes, it was our dear uniqueness himself. Who would have thought that he was such a romantic....

This one time a guy left me step-by-step instructions to go to a library at USC where he had hidden (in a really old reference book) a letter he'd written me and a CD he'd made with this one slow song on it. First he had to find USC and the library, since he had never been there before (being a silly Bruin himself), and managed to get horribly lost too. It was the sweetest letter...

Is it bad that it scared me and I stopped talking to him as a result? Word of advice to sweet guys. That is NOT something you should ever do for a girl you hardly know. Unless of course you want to see what it looks like for a girl to run away from you, fast.

I am beginning to think my friends are right... I AM mean! oopsy .

So what your trying to say is that this guy was moving too fast. or ws it his mere affectionate actions that scared you off??Originally posted by ckBejugThis one time a guy left me step-by-step instructions to go to a library at USC where he had hidden (in a really old reference book) a letter he'd written me and a CD he'd made with this one slow song on it. Yeah, you could say he was 'moving too fast'. There is also the problem of trying too hard. I know, I know, this is just the biggest bunch of crock, isn't it? Move slow, but not too slow; move fast, but not too fast; be affectionate, but not too affectionate; don't mistake misplaced/misguided affections for something like love; try hard, but not too hard; be nice, but not too nice; be an ass sometimes, but not always; be c0cky, but not too c0cky. It's enough to drive a sane man crazy! I think the key is in finding the happy middle, and adjusting to each other once you've found someone who's willing to adjust to you, someone you're willing to adjust to right back. You have to know when to push or pull and when to just hold on and stay still, heck even when to go back a few steps. It's kind of like dancing. (This just dawned on me to be the perfect analogy for the entire situation, or maybe it's 3:30am and I'm romanticizing the whole thing?). Dancing. Just think about it for a second. Yeah, that's what all this craziness is. A dance until you find the parter that can match every step to yours, and when sometimes your steps are off you can do a little twirl, or a dip, or even step out of the dance until you find your place again. If one of you goes too slow or too fast you adjust, compromise, and do your best to fall back into step, together...Originally posted by gevoSo what your trying to say is that this guy was moving too fast. or ws it his mere affectionate actions that scared you off??

I never said I was romantic. I also have not provided you with enough information of myself for you to decide otherwise.Originally posted by anileveYou want something romantic? Well I'll tell you something that is unmatched in it's ideal romanticism.

 Remember this quote?

But my dear, it was romantic! I mean which woman wouldn’t melt hearing that a guy has rooster rings waiting for her. Or that he is ready to apply his new paddle? And believe me that was enough information for me to form my opinion of your Casanova nature. You are the modern Don Juan, who has the right idea of what true romance is. Please share with us - the fruity imbecile members, just what exactly does your highness consider romantic? It would really mean a lot to our little shallow hearts like really really A LOT!!!! I shall even sacrifice my pig-elephant in your honor.Originally posted by duskenI never said I was romantic.
