Love at first sight is the equivelant of "Hey baby..wanna have sex?" It's based on attraction, because that's the only thing you are able to see from that person. It's superficial, but it's a great feeling to be THAT attracted to someone.

Any guy who has passed by me wearing "Jean Paul Gauttier Cologne" has made me feel this way. Grrrrrrr

I think love is a building process and both participants should be willing to work hard to make their love grow and prosper. It isn't love at first sight, it is more like Attraction or Infatuation at first sight and if that attraction or infatuation becomes love it just means that both of them worked hard for it to become love not because they saw eachother and fell in love at that moment. Love is more than what the eye meets.
