yeah i agree that it's quite scarry to be thinking of marriage at 18.... i think that's a bit too young, but yet again there are those who are more mature than others at that age, but i still see it as too soon- how can one at that age- when you finally are a young adult and able to live as an individual - want to committ without geting a taste of the real world first?

Correctness? Is it just me, or is the community in LA COMPLETELY different?

The community in LA is mostly fake. Finding a genuine person is kind of hard. Like finding a diamond in the rough. Especially in Glendale. Everyone wants to be on top of everyone else financially. It's funny how inside their own box (known as Glendale) Armenians are like kings, but outside they are like pu$$y cats because all they know how to do is judge their own and lie to each other in order to succeed themselves. It's pretty sad.

I lost this one girl to an arranged marriage one time. Totally pissed me off

I did what I could, but because the guy was "financially stable" and her parents REALLY liked him and had barely met me, they went ahead with it. It's funny because after they got married, he ended up abusing her every now and then so she ended up trying to call me to rescue the situation, but it's already to late. They were already a family of their own and I didn't want to get caught in the middle.

              Oh well.

Wow....I can honestly say that things like that never happen here in Montreal, to my knowledge, at least. Arranged marriages, yevayln..wtf??

And that marry/get rich/divorce thing that HyeBruin mentioned is just absurdly disgusting.

no way arranged marriages are so outta the question with some families i know- liek my own family- there are just a few that are more modernized/americanized and know that arranged marriages are really not smart--- yeah anywhoo- its not that everyone in LA thinks this way, but most people do--its sad though- becaue these arranged marriage things end up not working at all -- and usually the guy are really abusive...

well now! i don't wanna make it sound like they're marrying so they can divorce! but since the divorce rate is approaching 60% now, they figure might as well marry rich, so we can get something out of this thing....know what i mean?
