I dont think the race matters. If you met someone who was perfect for you, but was of a different race or ethnic groups, what are you supposed to do? Settle for less in those respects so they can be armenian?

Culture isn't innate. If you marry someone else and have a children, they can still learn about the armenian culture.

Oh man...we need to get a grip. Do you honestly believe that you can't control your feelings? I mean, if you REALLY want to be with an Armenian and know that it's the best thing for you, how can you NOT be? LOL I feel like human beings have been fed so much garbage about romance and love and how it all makes us so f*ckin blind...C'mon! I don't see (no pun intended) what the big idea is! What pisses me off is when people use that as a stupid asss excuse to betray us. Within the past year, I have heard about at least a dozen people getting into relationships with "odars"...it's just ONE BIG MESS! I remember a couple of years ago, there was this Italian girl who I met and she was telling me how her and her friends go around Glendale, trying to pick up Armenian guys..LOL I was stunned to find out why:

1. They are all hot as hell (i knew that)
2. They drive nice cars
3. They dress nice (yes she was talking about the Rabies)
4. They are good in bed..
5. They are suckers for odars.

She was telling me this and this was my face>> <<<What the hell is this big ass nasty girl talking about? She was like, "If I were you, I'd be careful, we're gonna take all your men away"...Of course all I did was laugh, but then I wondered... what if......

I do not have an issue with interracial relationships. Date who you want; marry who you want. I would date a non-Armenian, and have. However, I would not want to marry a non-Armenian and I would prefer that other Armenians would feel the same way. But, I cannot say that there is something wrong with some random German dating some random Columbian.

It might seem a bit draconian of me to be taking such a conservative stance on this topic but my opinion is based on the belief that any society and culture will crumble overtime with the production of hybrid offspring.

You are using rhetoric to drive a ridiculous point. The fact remains that there is no reason to discourage interracial relationships beyond your personal view of what is ideal as culture. No facts exist to say that one is better or more right than the other.

There are people who are culture creating, and culture bearing. The two are entirely different. Each culture is a reflection of the people that create them, not the other way around.

All societies that eventually mix, collapse, because the people, and the culture that the original people created, dilute. This pattern can be seen everywhere throughout history. Multiracial, multicultural societies are not healthy but sick, and usually mark the end or aging periods of civilizations. Those who believe "race does not matter", need to have a reality check, because it is precisely those people that stand to face extinction in the near millenium. With that said, I never said I am forcing people to marry Armenians. That would go against my ethics. The best I can do is persuade them to my point of view, via reason. I only stated I do not agree with it. Otherwise they are free to do as they please.

interracial relationships are waay too complicated- a relationship in itself with an armenian is complicated enough i think... well i've gone through that stage where i though i would never ever get with an armo guy, because the ones that are around are xxxxxxxs-- ive had my share of those-- but ive also had alot of guy friends who were ot armo, but they were totally cool and had the chance to date a few- but i jsut couldnt put myself in that position- i dunno its just weird for me- but i guess for other people- if they are in a interracial relationship, i wouldnt look down upon it- that's just how they wanna "doo their thang"-- but I would feel too awkward in such a situation--
