Frankly, THIS mentality makes me sick. I have always hated Armenians girls, but did I vow not ever marry one? No, it made me even more determined to find one that I loved so I could prove to all the xxxxxes that they can be decent and have decent Armenian boyfriends too. But then again I am a foolish little man obsessed with silly ideas.

Good for you that you're even more determined to find an Armenian girl you can love.

But you don't have to prove anything to anyone. If you're going to get involved with the girl, do it for yourself not for pride or proof or just to lets say win a bet with someone.

There are a lot of good Armenian girls out there, there are a lot of skanks, and there are some in the happy medium. You just have to recognize who is who (sometimes is tough ) and follow your heart.

the more i get to know armenians the less i think about marrying one. i think that armenians have recently become so ethnocentric that it makes me sick! we have forgotten about such things as tolerance and mindful interaction. all we care about is screaming from the top of our lungs that: we are armenians!!! but for the most part it means nothing for those who are the loudest.
i will marry anyone as long as the person respects my culture and is willing to admit that our children will be raised according to both armenian and other culture my future husband will belong to. my parents do not care either. the only thing that i wouldnt do is marrying a person who is not a christian. ethnicity and race do not matter to me.

This is a bile of horsecrap usually spewed by none other than egalitarians with no firm idea of what they themselves believe or know. Because some of us advocate marrying within our peoples, does not imply we are intolerant or somehow waging campaigns of oppression on other non Armenians. I myself explained how I do not favor nationalism because of its political bent, and my reasons for marrying within Armenians were personal and not political, because I happen to favor my culture, and have reasons to believe that excessive miscegenation and blood defiling has detrimental effects upon any society.

if you hate them, then you shouldn't marry one! PERIOD!!!! life is not about trying to prove something to yourself or to the nosey shallow l.a. armenian community!!! life is about being happy with the one who makes you happy!

i believe chille is the one who said it...yes! it's sad to say but we are so damn racist it's a disgrace! i once heard an old hayastantsee use the 'N' word! wtf?? i guess as long as they have "white skin" doesn't matter if they're on welfare or how they beat their wives up!
i'm not an 'advocate' of any group, however it is highly distasteful to hear ignorant comments from armenian mouths such as 'hey, you chinese?' to an asian! most armenians ARE ignorant and think they're the best 'race' on earth which is a total turn off!

Some of them are uneducated people. You cannot blame someone for not knowing something. Either correct them or just brush it off. I rather learn the truth then believe or think I know about something that is wrong. BUT, from then on I will make up my mind in who I will marry or what kind of pizza I like best.

You have to realize that some of the hayastantsees that come here from Armenia use the "N" word because they don't know that it's a derogatory term here in the US and offensive for black people. To them, saying "nigger" has the same connotation as saying "negro." You can't necessarily label this as ignorant. However, I totally agree with the opinion that most armos are racist (esp. the older generation).
