Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)
1] What you CAN NOT post.
You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene
You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)
The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!
2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.
This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.
3] Keep the focus.
Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.
4] Behave as you would in a public location.
This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.
5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.
Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.
6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.
Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.
7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.
- PLEASE READ -
Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.
8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)
If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Originally posted by GSTracer05Okay, we've had the marrying an "odar" convo before so I wont bother to get into that. You know my views.
As for Armenians as a whole...My views still don't change. I really do not concern myself with the affairs of Armenians. I educate myself about present news and what not, but unlike the "chille" poster, I do not believe that I have to take some stand to fight the wrongs done to, and by, armenians. .
I was just not raised that way as a child living in the San Fernando Valley. Outside of my family/relatives, I did not know a single Armenian till I was in college. Why would I want to live away from Armenians? because I feel more comfortable living among whites. (Not white trash, the middle to upper class whites, conservatives). You've spoken to me enough times to judge me personally Miss Goey and I would be as bold to say that you do not consider me a "bad" person. We just have different views of our lives/futures etc

Bunch of BS
So no one answer the question marrying someone from Iraq that is Armenian
and being from Armenia am I tainting the bloodline?
as everyone probably on this board are not full blooded and mixed with some other race. Isn't that consider inter racial?

Majority of the people on this board sound like a plot on the Harry Potter series. Half breeds passing judgement on not mixing the bloodline. As if you all study your history you are all 2 late as majority of you already are mixed. So my point is what more can it hurt marrying another race. People are people.............. Being from Armenia myself but arriving in the states at age of 2. All of my life I was told to marry into our culture but don't trust the armenians from that other country.....LOL BS

Hmm.. what else am I missing? Probably something, but those are most memorable experiences with Armenians growing up and to the present. I hated Armenians growing up. I literally said "I wish the turks were more thorough, God I hate these people"
That was then... and today? You'd be hard pressed to find ANYONE ALIVE with more pride in their hearts and more drive to do anything and everything necessary to make sure we're last. All I've been through, there's NOTHING I wouldn't do for my people. Cliche as it may sound, I'd die for my people.
Then... some chick who has beef with a comment some Armenian made comes along and says "I dunno, I don't like Armenian men much, I think I'll date outside my race cause they're no good" and I don't know whether to get angry or laugh. Simply put, you've been through nothing. You have NO reason to look down upon Armenians... and even if you did, if I could forgive them and learn the true essense of being what we are and learn to love my people, you could to. At the end of the day, what I'm saying is there is NO excuse to not want to date other Armenians... and even if there was one, you're no where near it, at least no where near as close as I was.Last edited by HyeJinx1984; 10-13-2004, 04:14 PM."All I know is I'm not a Marxist." -Karl Marx

But, all of your history has nothing to do with how those of us who havent been raised near armenian influence choose to date or marry. You seem like we've turned to the darkside and need to turn back. I mostly dated white girls because thats who I was raised next to. My classmates and friends were white...so I dated white. I didnt date white girls because I looked down on armenian girls and thought that they werent good enough. I'm sure there are many wonderful Armenian girls out there. I have no preference about dating an Armenian vs dating a white girl.
AND your life experiences only goes to reinforce my reasons for not wanting to live near the armenian masses. I have not dealt with the hardships you have and neither I, my family members, or my future children should have to deal with things of that nature.
P.S. And I think thats what Chille meant as well.Last edited by GSTracer05; 10-13-2004, 06:54 PM.
