You two are hammering in the two opposing points of a very popular argument (and taking this thread way off topic). Thus, neither one of you is going to get anywhere with this argument.

I think we need to clarify something here. While the Almighty Mouse has spoken and said gender equality cannot exist, he hasn't said that one gender is better than the other. He's not saying that women are inferior. Dammit, different does not mean inferior!

Nunechka, you do not need to defend yourself. We know that our "potential" is no lower. I have always defined myself by my success in school and community service. I am very proud of myself and you should be very proud as well. You are doing what you should to have a life you want and deserve. No man can stop you no matter how much he talks. They are young and really do not understand how they come off when they talk like that. Don't take them as seriously as they would like you to. Just let them know you are not one to be picked on. They don't really mean to be hurtful.

you are right about the inventions of men, no doubt about that, i have never disagreed with facts... but you forget that history is written by the dominant one, and so critial thought allows for the conclusion that maybe, just maybe when in those dark ages when the only thing that won any social agrument was actual physical strength, then you can easily come to the conclusion that between the physically strong and the physically weak people, the physically stronger gender won the war...

but now-a-days physical strength isnt as important as education, and since now education isnt just for men, which is what it was for, now there are CEOs who are women, women have invented many other things, or they have upgraded and updated so many things that men supposebly thoguht of... you are so funny, you believe that there was a head start, i dont believe that at all... i think that as evolution occured that every situation asked for a different solution, like hunters and gatheres, or horticulture, or industrial societies, or now-a-days which is known as "information" so for hunting, women were not physically strong enough to do it... gathering well thats all they did, they were gardners and they mostly were respondible for raising their childern... horticulture is raising farm animals and women did this as efficiently as men, but then came the industrial time, and this was different because this ment, moving out of your city, going to work without any supervision from your parents, and only men were allowed to do this, and etc...

and yes men did not allow for women to do this... come on you are living in the dark if you think that men didnt supress women... in the airforce in the 20s men used to have drawings of half naked or just naked women on their airplanes, they used to have playboy as office magazines in offices, but when women were allowed to go to school and maybe they were motivated to become piolets, those drawings disappeared... WOW? how? is it a good idea to draw naked women on airplanes? NO! it is disgraceful... i am offended, why didnt they draw men? would women have drawn men, NO! they would not have drawn men, not because we are prude, but because it does not interest us, women now have the same opportunities, but i dont see a lot of sexual harrasment from women to men, men have always degraded women, and if it wasnt for any womans movements, it would be the same way now, and all you girls in colleges right now, WOULD NOT BE IN COLLEGE, you would be married off...

This is simple logic. You cannot comprehend this, either because you are lagging on intelligence ( which I don't believe is the case ), or because you are intentionally ignoring it to hold fast to your prism of fallacies. If you go back in time far enough, whether you believe in evolution or the Genesis outlook, eventually you had Man and Woman. Thus, none of them were ahead of each other. So how was it that men were able to outperform women, and get to where we are today? Obviously, the excuse "men oppressed women", is simply the cry of the weak, crying excuses after the fact. Men are more rational and creative. Women are more emotional. They are different sexes therefore they differ not only physiologically, but psychologically, and spiritually, for they are hardwired for different purposes. You do not have to like it. Men are masters of the external world. Women are masters of the internal world.

I don't know anyone else who would present such an abominable argument, but it is fun nonetheless ( for me at least ), for I rather enjoy responding to balderdash.

I did not say women are inferior. Women and men are two different organisms and cannot be compared. Now, if I were to say the United States is superior to Angola, that would make sense. If I said Asians are superior to blacks in intelligence, that would also be true. If I said Asians are superior to blacks in athletics, that would be false. Stop interpreting things to mean something other than what I meant they are. And yes, men have outperformed women. You do not have to like it, but don't whine about it. What other word do you want me to use? You do not like words, that is not my problem. Should I have said "Men have historically been very manipulative with psychic powers and have psychically controlled women in order to subvert them and get ahead", but even that would be an argument in my favor. That isn't to say that there aren't women who can kick my ass or body slam me, or make me feel like a stupid nerfbrain.
