Sitting in Armenian 101 today, I realized something... other than family members I've never really, REALLY approached or talked with an Armenian girl in my whole life (except for a special somebody from these boards, but that's a different story). I guess much of it has to do with me hating their guts and thinking they were complete b*tches all through out high school.. but times are different now and I see there's more to life than Grant High.
It's been about seven months now since my last girlfriend and I'm starting to get lonely as the "crazy bachlor life" is starting to die down, leaving me in need of something a little more special. Since one of the big reasons I broke up with my last girlfriend was cause I had it up to here with dating odars... naturally I'd want my next girlfriend to be Armenian. But that's the problem... I got no real practice with Armenian girls.
So after two boring paragraphs, what is this thread all about you're asking yourselves? Well, basically, this will be a thread for all you lovely ahchiks to school a guy on what it is you like and dislike in an Armenian man. What kind of clothes do you guys like? How do you like guys to approach you? What kind of flirting is ok and what kind is too agressive? Anything and everything that you guys would like to see in an Armenian guy I'm willing to try out, so please, help out!!!
I've never "approached" an armo girl in the traditional sense because I freakin know them all.
So what you can do is figure out who you know in common (there's always someone) and presto! Instant conversation. Instead of coming out with a gameplan just listen to what she's telling you. Everybody's different.
For me Armenian girls are easier to talk to then odars.
It's always been the opposite for me, up to this point it's been a mutual "leave me alone, I'll leave you alone".... now I'm trying to reverse 20 years of mental training.

this is the most foreign thing i've ever read! where do you get this from? i'm curious now!

I KEED, I KEED!!!......sorta'

Jinxie, jinxie, jinxie. Ghentatseres? Why would you need to know what they like in guys? You're going with the pretending to be something you're not mentality? How are you going to have even a semi-successful relationship if the way you nabbed the girl is a facade? You be yourself as was mentioned, and YOU pick the girl that does it for you, not the other way around. It's about what kind of clothes YOU like, what kind of flirting is ok with YOU, not with THEM. How are you going to be happy with her, if you have to alter who you are in order to get her? You need to be attracted to each other mutually if it's going to work, not masking around in a charade, like 99% of the current relationships.
I wouldn't pretend to be something I'm not, just focus more on one particular aspect of my personality than another upon making a first impression, that's all. But, like I said, i'm over my little romantic ideas. I had a brain-twitch for a second there... I'm back to normal again. What was I thinking?
