I think you just answered the question yourself about why we need to marry and reproduce our kind.

For personal reasons I would like to put a distinction on a love of history and culture, and 'nationalism', to all the nationalists out there.

The love of ones history and culture I do not confuse with 'nationalism' which is political in all its manifestations. It seems that in these latter days one cannot separate culture from political matrimony to the State. I choose to do so.

That I learned how to read and write Armenian, and that I want to marry an Armenian instead of a Turk or a Tibetan, and some day have an Armenian family and teach my kids Armenian, has in no way to do with a driving force of 'nationalism', than a personal growth and development and bond that I have formed with my culture, my history, and my family.

Beautifully said. Now we have two things we agree on (the other being that Halo 2 will kick ass).
