If both of the people in the relationship enjoy sarcasm and do not take it seriously or personally, then sparks may fly.
    Exactly. Well put.

It's really quite simple. At least in my personal opinion, a deep, heartfelt friendship is a prerequisite for any romantic relationship that is bound to last.

As for my advice for Hayq...

Most of the guys have the right idea but they're all wording it wrong. It's not a Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde thing. We don't want you to be an assh0le one second, and a sweetheart the next. Some guys screw up, and think that a dozen roses will make everything better. Well, they will...if the girl's a freaking moron.

Just don't be a pushover. Simple. Humor is VERY important, hence where the sarcasm comes in. And insulting each other incessantly as a way to show love is just retarded. The eggplant is right...the insults most likely mask ill feelings and mental issues.

So just be yourself. Not a pushover. And not an assh0le either.

Trust me, when a girl likes you, she makes it a point to let you know.
                  1) She wants to spend more time with you.
                  2) She thinks all your jokes are funny when some may not be.
                  3) She's always asking for your opinion... "do you like my hair?" "Do you like this skirt?" etc.
                  4) She's extra touchy feely. (Not in the perverted way).
                  5) She does things to get your attention that she wouldnt normally do.
                  6) She gets jealous if there is another girl in the area. (Girls mark their territory.)

and another 94 other ways that I'm too lazy to write out.

Nonsense. It's good to take notes, there's always room for improvement.

by the way, which handguns/rifle did you shoot? I happen to like the whole marksmanship hobby. My dad got me into the whole deal. Some of those high powered rifles and shotguns can really bruise your shoulder.

                      Uhm............................................... .........................NO. lol.
Well, not always. What you described is an outspoken girl giving the guy signals. Have you forgotten about shy girls?

___I know that you might think that there is an easy answer to this, but there isn't. It depends on the signals she sends and if she sends any signals at all. Sending signals would also depend on her personality.

Shy girl: She probably won't send any signals and you have to figure it out a different way.

Outspoken girl: If you knew her for a while, talked to her a number of times and all of a sudden she feels shy around you, blushes, or giggles (still blushes), she has the hots for you. I love saying that, "Hots for you." lol.

___Anyways, another way you can notice it, is in her eyes. I know that this may not make sense, but you can actually see it her eyes. By seeing in her eyes, I mean eye contact.

Now, how much have I confused you?
                      I see...
