Your bf/gf should always be your best friend anyway. That's usually how I see it. And it's a good way to approach a relationship; by being friends first. Would be better than to just feel pressured in dating and wanting to form a relationship....

Just "acts like" - ...I'm thinking your thinking that you really want him to like you, yes? And sure - the way it should be. I would characterize the relationship my wife and I have together as one of best friends as well as lovers/spouses/parents etc. Its a shame when this isn't the case IMO....
