Hey guys, what's wrong with u? Why are u so racist?
She's talking only about date and she's talking about a Turkish guy, but not about Turkish government who made the Genocide. Why do u want every Turkish to pay for the thing they haven't done individually? What’s their crime for the stupid and idiot government?

No one can manage fillings. Love comes and never asks to anybody…
There's nothing silly about the date with Turkish I think… only if we are not talking about marriage here.
I'm against the marriage with other religions.

Ummm... doesn't dating someone lead to falling in love and eventually marriege? After all whats the point of dating someone? And if it's racist not to date other relgions, is then not racist not to marry one??

Crissy, marriage is not all the time necessary after dating. We date to know each other and the following decision depends from a kind of the relationship.

The girl here was speaking only about dating a Turkish guy. I don't see anything bad in this situation but for marriage between him and her, I'm not the best adviser here.

Marriage is very responsible thing...more than we think. But to change the religion it's more responsible than marriage. Well...this is my oppinion.
What do u think about it?

No, dating someone doesn't necessarily mean marriage. The whole point of dating is to get to know someone. What I am trying to say is, as you stated in your previous post. You can't help who you fall in love with. If you don't date someone and don't spend time with them how are you going to fall for them? She can date the guy all she wants, but what happens when she falls in love? Is she then going to turn away from him?

Marriage is not a game (although some ppl treat it as one). It's for the rest of your life.

What I was asking you is this, if it's racist NOT to DATE someone of different religion, is it then not racist not to marry one?

well...yeah...I guess...maybe u can call it racism in a way if it concerns to marriage as we are going to connect there religion as well.

I don't see any problems with dating or friendship only.

U can fall for someone without dating even U can be in love all ur life without telling the person about ur fillings...depends...
And dating...people can date each other without thinking about the religion, I think.

Pantera jan, I think it's a matter of personal sense of outrage at and sensitivity to anti-Armenian stance of Turkey and their ugly cultural/national priorities and the general dismissive/hateful way with which Turks view Armenians and the Armenian Genocide. If you don't care that generally Turks view Armenian national/cultural aspirations with disdain, that Turks care little for the fact that 1.5 million Armenians were cleansed, that Turks feel Armenians don't deserve justice, then I suppose you can date Turks. Allow me to ask you a question: would you feel comfortable to express your disdain for Turkey and Turkish national character openly in front of a Turkish "friend" or "lover", or would you have to force yourself to be unfaithful to your own feelings/principles.

It's not about the individual temperament or character of some Turk. In fact it's not about Turls, it's about the sense of outrage that we must keep alive and breathing, even if it does corrupt us. This sense of outrage is what eventually lets peoples overcome tyrants and barbarians. And, Turkey, not some good-natured well-meaning Turk, is most definitely an Anti-Armenian tyrant and a barbaric state.

Now, maybe if you found a Turk by birth, who genuinely gives up his nationality, refuses to be called a Turk, joins ASALA, assassinates Erdogan, and let's say desecrates Ataturk's grave for good measure, then maybe it'd be OK. (that was a joke of course).

I don't mean to come on as a judgmental ass, but these are my feelings. It has nothing to do with race or racism. Uzbeks are from the Turkic race, and yet I don't have much to say about friendship with one.

So people have to behave to someone with thinking of his/her race.If his/her race is the other that we think bad , it is impossible to have a friendship with him/her cause he/she is the other for us and cannot be a good person.All of them are certainly bad persons.There is no way for thinking another.Just bad,bad,bad...

Actually,someone who think and look for a race criterion as you ,cannot be in love to someone or have a real friendship easily.Love and friendship haven't got criterions.Friendship is a sharing , understanding and accepting eachother without thinking any criter..It is like a mirror.If someone smile you , you smile too.If you don't , this show that you have got psycological problems.So what a pity for you.You should be lonely in general or has got artifical freindships with this way.Maybe you have , you can find racits as you , unfortunately there are lots of racits in the world and people are so happy!? cause of you who s.h.i.t.ted in the world.Some people find that differences are dangerous , if they haven't got same things as you , they cannot be friend or anything.For me , differences are worthy things for knowing , learning new things and understanding eachother.Pity for you,cause with your racist ideas to a nation , you will live with dirty feelings and be unhappy cause It should be hard to carry big dirties of hatred.

Dear karoaper, I understand ur anger and pain which I have in me as well, because of Genocide. But I don't hate all Turks because of it. I don't think that new Turkish generations have to pay what happened long time ago. We have things to discuss with Turkish government, but not with somebody else.
The genocide will stay in our harts forever, but it doesn't mean that all Turkish people are automatically BAD. I like cultures and I don't care which nation is it. Besides...we have lot of foreign mix in our culture as well.
When I see someone I try to have my own opinions not by nationality but by personality. I don't choose friends by nationality; I choose them for their personalities. I agree with karot in this point.

I'll repeat that the only thing I'd never accept is the marriage with different religions. And that's it

Pantera, never said you can't be friends with otars or other races/religions etc. being friends is different, but when it comes to dating it's different. you can't date someone casually and not have any feelings towards that person, unless its a casual arrangement by both ??

regardsless, each to their own I guess, I know for me, its a big NO NO, I can't do it, won't do it, won't feel right.

Crissy jan, there is no word "can't". People CAN do every thing and whatever they like. I'm just telling, that it's not our job to judge people or their behaviours and there is nothing bad to date Turkish guy. U never know when love appears and it never worn about it's appearance... and I wanna tell u that love can change many things in the world. U never know...

To date doesn't mean to merry and it doesn't matter what kind of intentions u have towards the guy u date. Dating can change many kinds of intentions or...can stay the way it was...doesn't matter.
