Our players had no heart and no ballz for most of this game. Terrible decisions by the coach to play edgar over youra and voskanian playing the whole game. When everyone on the field is to blame (players and coach) that points the figure at the FFA. The lone goal tells much of the story. Even when our keeper made the initial save their player kept going after the ball while our defender stopped playing. I am the type that usually says its the players who win or lose games but the fact that our best players were not even on the field for most of the game means that the coaching is horrid. When everything (coaching+players) look bad its most likely a systemic issue with the ffa.

MALTA ARRIVE IN YEREVAN AHEAD OF WORLD CUP QUALIFIER

The Malta squad flew into Yerevan in the early hours of this morning
ahead of their 2014 World Cup Group B qualifier against Armenia
on Friday.

Malta usually travel with an 18-man squad for away games but with the
MFA chartering the flight to Armenia, coach Pietro Ghedin received
the go-ahead to take 22 players.

After checking in at the Marriott Hotel around 6 am, the Malta players
were given the morning off to rest and recover from the journey.

Three experienced players haven't made the trip for different reasons.

Goalkeeper Andrew Hogg, who turned out for Cypriot club Neon Enosis
Paralimni last season, pulled out of the squad with a back problem
and defender Andrei Agius is unavailable as his Serie C1 club Latina
will face Pisa in the first leg of their promotion play- off final
on Sunday.

Valletta midfielder Ryan Fenech is also absent as he's getting married
this weekend.

Malta are due to hold a training session at the FC Banants Stadium
this evening.

Malta lost 2-0 at home to Italy in their last qualifier in March,
their fifth defeat in as many matches.

Armenia have three points thanks to their 1-0 win over Malta in the
opening qualifier back in September.

This CNN correspondent tweeted that Mkhitaryan's agent is still negotiating with several clubs and that he hopes to conclude a deal with a "major European club" within the next few weeks.

Pretty irresponsible of the Armenian National Team facebook page for implying that it was a done deal.

If it happens, I hope he is able to distinguish himself in the much more competitive EPL.

I thinks its a very good place for him as he will get a lot of opportunities to prove himself and be a regular in the lineup, which wouldn't have been the case in a a place like barcelona. Either way though, he is headed to a major club, just a matter of which one, and at this point liverpool seems to be by far the front runner. The only problem is he won't be playing in the champions league next year, but i think this well worth the tradeoff of playing on a major club in the world's most prestigious league.

It would be good to see Aras and Yura make their way into the four major leagues in Western Europe soon
