Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)
1] What you CAN NOT post.
You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene
You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)
The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!
2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.
This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.
3] Keep the focus.
Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.
4] Behave as you would in a public location.
This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.
5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.
Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.
6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.
Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.
7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.
- PLEASE READ -
Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.
8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)
If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Well, Baron, you know I've always wanted the Habs to win, and how much of a fan of Koivu I am, but I must say that I lost a little bit of respect for the team and its fans, with the anthem-booing, and the Ribeiro affair and how the team covered up on it. Although they did play well after their stupid game in which Kovalev gave away the winning goal for the Bruins... Anyhow, as far as I'm concerned, the Bruins fans were more classy when they cheered for the Canadian anthem.
But did the Bruins ever have a chance in this series at any rate? I mean, when you look at how they won the games... one of the games they won because of a Habs mistake (Kovalev)... It would've been very bad for the Habs if they lost the series, and Kovalev knew that he would be the one to take the blame for it, so he stepped up his game. And Koivu was absolutely great. Anyway, I'm kinda relieved that they advanced, but somewhere deep down, I wanted the Bruins to advance. Anyhow, after seeing the few things thrown on the ice by Bruins fans, they have gone down to the same level as the Habs.
And did you watch the Flames vs. Canucks game??!? WOW!! That was THE best series so far. Too bad only one can advance... And I think that last second play which resulted in the goal should've been a penalty in favour of Iginla.
And did I mention, I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Iginla? He's the BEST player (besides Chara from the Senators) in the playoffs so far. Absolutely stunning. Scored two goals. The entire Flames team was on fire (ditto for the Canucks). I just hated the way the fans behaved. Someone threw a sweater on the ice in the middle of the game... and a few seconds after that, the Canucks scored the equalizer in the last few seconds of the game... I guess the title of classy Canucks fans goes out the window too... ahhh well...
lol, the Canucks were absolutely stunned by that OT goal by Gelinas. And this guy was great all series. Ditto for Leopold. All the Flames team had been great. They deserved the win.

And I almost forgot - GO SENS GO!! At least now I have something to watch hockey for after the Devils were ousted... two of my favourite teams (Habs, Flames) are still in, and hopefully the third one too (Sens).
Overall, I'll be cheering for the Flames. A cup final with the Flames would be absolutely GREAT.

Haha...the anthem booing. Mneh...anything done in a hockey arena, in my opinion, should not be taken that seriously. I mean for Christ's sake, you have people hurling each other into boards, and we care about classy all of a sudden? I don't agree with the booing, but I don't think that such a fuss should be made about it.
As for the Ribeiro affair, I don't think he faked it. He probably had a pinched nerve, which apparently hurts a lot as soon as you get it, but later on, you just feel your muscle being a little more tense. Or maybe his shoulder popped out and back in. He DID miss practice the next day because of it, so I think there was no acting.
In any event, NOTHING, aaaaabsolutely NOTHING the Habs could ever do would match the classlessness of the Bruins two years ago. I still cringe when I see Mclaren's hit on Zednik.
Yeah, Flames and Nucks were fun to watch. I started out rooting for the Nucks, but eventually started converting to the Flames.
And don't look now, but Sens are down 3-1....

Booo hooo, Sens lose. Thanks, Lalime, for making Marty Brodeur look so good.. haha... lol... what an idiot... he didn't even seem to care at the end of the game anyway... so much about Lalime's future with the Sens.
And about Ribeiro - the team covered up for him. Just cos he missed practise doesn't mean he really was hurt. And did you see Kovalev shaking hands with his left hand and not taking his right glove off? Keeping up the act.... Lame if you ask me. Anyway, GO KOIVU!!
