Yes, its sad but it was gone happen. He was to young and did not have enough experience to win. But I still had high hopes.

Like you I still dont understand why Paul Hamm won Gold for Men's Gymnastics. I thought the Judges where not strict enough.

As for boxing...going back a couple of days. Azerbaijan should not have won the Greek guy...again I dont know why the judges didnt stop that!

          He won GOLD?

I was watching yesterday and he fell, and they said if anything he may still have a chance for bronze, but even that's unlikely. I didn't watch the rest of it.

I felt bad for the poor freckled guy. I'm glad he won... if he did.

Yes, he went from 12th place to win the gold! I saw the vault where he fell on his butt. The announcers were saying "Oh no, there go his chances for a medal." It's amazing he won, I think the 2 Koreans messed up alot in order for him to win.

No, I dont think the Koreans messed up a lot. He did a great job on the last one, but I dont think it was Gold.

He won by 12 thousandth of a point (was it)..come on please tell me that wasnt done just for him to win it.

On a side note. Is there some sort of Anatomical/medical/physiological reason why gymnasts are so short, and often dwarf-like?

The actions of the United States always are connected to politics. When the Soviet Union was dominating the Olympics the U.S. quickly made sure professional athletes would be allowed to compete in the Olympics. Now, China is pretty dominate in the Olympics in terms of medals, but yet where is the U.S.?

Of course, Americans are going to "win". They have a endless supply of athletes from different racial and ethnic backgrounds. A Russian contender is ethnically Russian, but the same can not be said of a U.S. athlete.

My point is that you can not compare the U.S. to team with those of other nations because of the fact that the U.S. is so culturally, racially, and ethnically diverse.

Yes, he fell but later he came back and amazed everyone with his jumps or something. Pretty cool.
